About the Role
The Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for administrative tasks in the Office of the CEO and supporting executives to ensure effective delivery of Academy objectives. This role requires strong planning, organisation and coordination skills to support and manage the administrative requirements of the Academy's Executive Leadership Team and to contribute to a range of other activities as required.
A high level of interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Academy, is critical to the role.

About the Division
The Chief Executive Officer reports to the Academy Board and the Department of Education Secretary, leading the Academy to achieve its objectives, functions and related outputs.
The Office of the Chief Executive Officer coordinates the Academy's Executive Leadership Team, supporting teams across all Divisions. The office provides strategic advice, governance, stakeholder engagement, and legal support for Academy activities, as well as leading priority IT initiatives.
Capabilities
To be successful in this role, you must excel at managing deadlines and timeframes, have a strong understanding of workload prioritisation and demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high performing team.
To that end, the Executive Assistant will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and will be able to be flexible to adapt and support delivery of business priorities across the remit of the Office of the CEO. This will include working in the office at least 3 times per week (sometimes more, depending on business requirements), and being flexible on the days each week in order to attend and support in person events.
As a valued member of the Office of the CEO, the applicant will understand sensitive information and appreciate the confidentiality required of the role specific to the purpose of the Academy and the Office of the CEO.
