Position Overview
The Administration and Education Support Coordinator is a pivotal role in the founding team at Muyan Primary School. In the school's establishment phase, the focus will be on administration and enrolments, ensuring families are warmly welcomed, student enrolments are managed with accuracy and care, and the school's vision and values are promoted to the wider community.
As the school grows, this role will evolve into a leadership position with responsibility for coordinating and supporting classroom Education Support staff. This progression offers a unique career pathway for an organised, adaptable, and proactive professional who is eager to contribute to the success and culture of our new school community.
The successful candidate will bring strong interpersonal and organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a genuine commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the community. Reporting directly to the Principal and Business Manager, this role is central to shaping a welcoming school culture and supporting effective teaching and learning.

Muyan Primary School (located in Wallan East) is a new government school which is currently under construction. It is located in Wallan which is just under 45 kilometres to the north of Melbourne's CBD. The school will open for day one of Term 1 in 2026 and will have places for up to 525 students.
This school will help to meet increasing enrolment demand from a growing local population. It will help local students get high-quality education close to home.
