Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Epidemiologist to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
The Epidemiologist is a senior specialist role providing strategic leadership in epidemiology within the Gippsland Regional Public Health Unit (GRPHU). The position is responsible for advanced data design, analysis and interpretation, supporting evidence-informed decision-making through high-quality reporting, visualisation and governance of population level data. Working across communicable disease surveillance and broader population health domains, the Epidemiologist translate complex, multi-source data into meaningful insights that inform regional health strategy and action. The role collaborates closely with other Victorian local public health units, the Department of Health and partner organisations, contributing to whole-of-region public health improvement and evolving public health responses.
