Position overview
Reporting to the Manager, Complaints Triage & Regulatory Assessment, the Senior Technical Advisor (Plumbing) provides expert technical advice and assessments to efficiently resolve plumbing complaints received by the Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC). This role manages high-risk and complex cases, conducts site inspections where appropriate, prepares detailed requests to rectify plumbing work referencing plumbing standards, and liaises with stakeholders across the organisation. The position also contributes to strategic initiatives aimed at educating practitioners and improving compliance within the industry. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to influence industry performance through engagement and advice.
