About the Role
This is a Casual position within the Support Services Department for Environmental Service Attendant.
Casual Position
Shifts: Day Shift, Afternoon Shift & Night Shift across Weekdays and Weekends
As an Environmental Service Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment across both clinical and non-clinical areas of the hospital. Reporting to the Environmental Services Coordinator, you will ensure that your practices adhere to Infection Control guidelines and the Cleaning Standards for Victorian Health Facilities. In this role you will ensure that your work aligns with Infection Control guidelines and Cleaning Standards for Victorian Health Facilities. Additionally, you will need to respond promptly to both planned and unplanned absenteeism by providing coverage as required. This may include accepting calls for shift coverage at short notice, demonstrating flexibility and reliability in meeting the hospital’s
Classification for this position will range from IN18 - IN19 (FTE base salary $47,985 to $53,508 per annum, plus superannuation).

About the Department
Support Services began life back in 2007 growing out of the old Environmental Services Department to become one of the largest single departments in the hospital with over 220 staff.
