About the Role
This is an ongoing Full-Time position at 80 hours per fortnight within the Environmental Service Attendant Project team.
As an Environmental Service Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment across both clinical and non-clinical areas of the hospital. Reporting to the Environmental Services Supervisor, you will ensure that your practices adhere to Infection Control guidelines and the Cleaning Standards for Victorian Health Facilities.
In this role you will ensure that your work aligns with Infection Control guidelines and Cleaning Standards for Victorian Health Facilities. Your well-developed written and verbal communication skills combined with your interpersonal skills will provide you with the ability to work within a team environment in varying locations throughout the hospital. Your customer focus attention to detail will enable you to provide a high-level service to patients, families and colleagues.
Classification for this position IN19 (FTE base salary $53,508 per annum, plus superannuation).

About the Department
Support Services began life back in 2007 growing out of the old Environmental Services Department to become one of the largest single departments in the hospital with over 220 staff.
