We are seeking a keen cleaner to join our Daylesford Health team to provide and facilitate a clean and safe environment to residents and customers at Daylesford Community Health.
The Environmental Services Assistant is an integral member of the support services team who work to achieve a high standard of quality service delivery within the team environment. The Environmental Services Assistant will undertake and contribute to ensuring compliance with Cleaning and /or Food Safety standards, and assumes responsibility for their own practice.
The position requires the following;
• Clean and check all equipment and material used in daily work and report any faults, wear and tear or breakdowns to the relevant personnel.
• Be familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets and safe handling of cleaning products.
• Follow directions of the Infection Prevention & Control Coordinator/ Nursing Unit Manager regarding special cleaning precautions that may be required from time to time.
Details of Appointment:
Permanent part-time position, working 30 hours per fortnight
The position hours are: 6.30-9.30am Monday to Friday
Salary:
$28.16 per hour (IN19 - Grade 2) + Superannuation
