About the role and your responsibilities:
As the Environmental Advice Manager, you will be expected to provide strategic and technical leadership in the delivery of high-quality environmental advice across Parks Victoria's operations, projects, and planning activities. This role is essential in ensuring that environmental values are protected and enhanced through evidence-based decision-making and compliance with legislation.
You will have the ability to lead the environmental advice team and support the environment protection (including public health) function to ensure that Parks Victoria has in place high performing practices to meet its statutory obligations, protect the environment, and ensure public health.
You will also be an exceptional communicator with experience in working to a high degree of collaboration with internal team and external stakeholders in embedding environmental considerations into all aspects of our works.
