Investment and Technology group leads and manages the investment lifecycle; drives commercial advice & negotiations to facilitate reform; and enables core delivery through Finance, Procurement & Enterprise Technology.
About the role
This role is within the Solutions Delivery branch (Enterprise Technology) and forms part of a core release management capability across our enterprise systems; including Oracle Financials, SAP SuccessFactors and IBM Maximo platforms. Encompassing a range of skills across analysis, testing and stakeholder management, this role is responsible for ensuring regular platform releases are successfully deployed into DTP’s production environments. This role will work with several business and technical stakeholder groups in ensuring these outcomes are successfully delivered.

Position Outcomes / Accountabilities
– Provide sound expert advice to support planning decisions relating to platform releases across DTP enterprise applications
– Undertake analysis activities relating to platform releases across DTP enterprise applications to ensure thorough understanding of proposed changes
– Undertake testing activities relating to platform releases across DTP enterprise applications to ensure proposed changes have been correctly configured
– Coordinate remediation activities relating to platform release across DTP enterprise application to ensure business impacts are addressed in a timely manner
– Exercise independent judgment in engaging relevant stakeholders across business and technical groups to ensure platform releases across DTP enterprise applications are understood and validated end to end

Technical capabilities
- Release Management [RELM – Level 4]: Coordinates release activities across multiple teams and stakeholders. Manages the release lifecycle, ensuring timely and quality deliverables. Communicates release plans, progress and outcomes to stakeholders. Conducts post-release reviews and identifies areas
for improvement.
- Applications Support [ASUP – Level 3]: Follows agreed procedures to identify and resolve issues with applications. Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics
Qualifications and experience
- 3+ years of experience working in a similar role and organisation (mandatory)
– Demonstrable working knowledge of Oracle Financials or SAP SuccessFactors or IBM Maximo platforms (desirable)
– Industry standard qualifications in systems analysis or test management or change delivery (desirable)
