What you'll be responsible for:
• Leading the development of enterprise architecture and IT strategy to support the VEC's long-term goals
• Aligning systems and application development with strategic direction, ensuring scalability, security and integration
• Providing expert leadership and guidance across the Information and Digital Services Branch
• Developing technology roadmaps and standards to guide IT initiatives and reduce duplication
• Conducting high-level research to identify future IT trends and assess applicability
• Collaborating with key stakeholders, including the Director of Applications, to deliver robust and resilient solutions for major electoral events
• Building internal capability through mentoring, policy development and promoting architectural best practice
