Alexandra District Health is the major health service within the Shire of Murrindindi and has a long and proud history in health-related service provision to the area, providing inpatient, outpatient and primary health services.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, dynamic and highly motivated Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join the Acute Services clinical team to build skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the region. You will work within the clinical team to provide patient care on our 25 bed Acute Ward.
The Enrolled Nurse works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They collaborate with patients and their families to ensure safety, engage in comprehensive assessments, and develop nursing and risk management plans. Additionally, they communicate with nursing, medical, Allied Health and Support Services staff while actively involving families and carers. Our Enrolled nurses assist in developing a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and their families.
You will ensure that patients are encouraged to be partners in care planning, goal setting and decision making, and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to achieve desired health outcomes for patients.
The successful candidate will have:
• Current registration as an EN with AHPRA
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Acute Nursing an advantage
