About the opportunity
The Engagement Advisor supports the delivery of clear, timely and well-coordinated community and stakeholder engagement activities for the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL). Reporting to the Senior Engagement Advisor, the role works day-to-day alongside other engagement team members, as well as the SRLA delivery teams, technical specialists and construction partners to ensure engagement activity reflects local delivery needs, construction impacts and precinct priorities.
The position contributes to the development of engagement plans, community relations activities and communications materials across the SRL East program, with a particular focus on supporting issues management, responding to local stakeholder concerns and helping deliver engagement opportunities within their geographic area/precinct.
As the project progresses through major works, the Engagement Advisor adapts to support evolving engagement requirements. This includes preparing clear and accessible information, assisting with events and site-based activities, monitoring community sentiment, and identifying and escalating emerging issues to ensure safe and well-managed project delivery.
This role is Fixed Term for 3 years.
