About the Role
Electorate Officers provide essential support to Members of Parliament and play a vital role in assisting the Victorian community. This position has a strong constituent enquiries and casework focus, supporting Rachel Payne MP to respond to community concerns, help constituents navigate government services, and ensure local issues are addressed promptly and sensitively.
You will be the first point of contact for many community members seeking help with complex personal, social, or government related matters. The role requires empathy, sound judgement, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the Member, community organisations, government agencies, and local stakeholders, while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism‑related matters. This role is based in the Chelsea electorate office and may involve occasional attendance at community events or meetings.
