THE ROLE
The Refugee Minor Program (RMP) is responsible for providing case management, supervision and support to young refugees who are in Australia without parents. The Refugee Minor Program is a statewide service with services provided across Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria. As an Education and Training Advisor, your role will be to support and progress the educational outcomes for children and young people supported by the RMP.
Using a systems approach you will work closely with a range of stakeholders in the education and training sector to ensure that children and young people from refugee backgrounds have access to the necessary resources and supports required to achieve their educational and developmental potential. The Education and Training Advisor will also be responsible for providing secondary consultation and professional development for case managers across the refugee minor program and contracted agencies.
