About the Role
An exiciting opportunity exists for you as an Education Early Intervention Officer (EEIO) - Senior Community Services Advisor in providing education support for children aged 10-13 years who are coming into contact with police. The EEIO works in collaboration and coordination with key support services to re-connect the child/young person with their school or education setting. The EEOI will work closely in partnership with Department of Education Area and Regional Teams, Victoria Police, schools and other relevant key government agencies such as the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing and Department of Justice and Community Safety.
There are 2 ongoing roles available, one based in the Brimbank Melton's Area (Sunshine) Office and one in the Barwon Area's (Geelong) (South Western Victoria Region) of the Department of Education, some travel across the region may be required.
