The ES Level 4 Wellbeing Support position carries significant responsibility for supporting student wellbeing and engagement across the school. The role involves managing a range of wellbeing initiatives and programs under broad guidelines, providing timely advice and assistance to the leadership team, staff, and the school community. Employees in this role work with a high level of independence, ensuring that appropriate support levels are maintained and contributing to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.Specialised professional roles at this level carry significant accountability, allowing scope to achieve objectives independently. As an Education Support position, this role supports the wellbeing and engagement of students but does not include teaching duties as defined under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic). Supervision of students may only occur where it is an integral part of the wellbeing role, such as individual or small-group support in controlled circumstances.
The ES Level 1 Range 4 Wellbeing Support position is responsible for managing the day-to-day work practices and priorities of support staff involved in student wellbeing programs. The role ensures that all school records, student information, and communication systems are maintained with confidentiality and handled appropriately. Employees in this position provide support to students, staff, and the wider school community while following established procedures and guidelines, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
