The Maintenance and Grounds Person is responsible for maintaining the school grounds, buildings, and facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
This role requires sound judgement, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to perform a variety of hands-on maintenance, repair, and general duties across the school.

LOCATION
Coral Park Primary School is located within the residential community of Hampton Park, approximately 10 kms southeast of Dandenong and 40 kms southeast of the Melbourne CBD. The school was established in 1991.

Teachers provide a rich curriculum incorporating ICT through their daily programs in literacy and numeracy development and specialist programs in The Arts, Health, Physical Education and Sport, Science and AUSLAN. The student management program Compass is utilised extensively across the school for student monitoring, tracking, assessment and reporting and whole school, including parent, communication.
FACILITIES
The school consists of the main building, which houses 10 classrooms, the library, the Arts Centre, staff and administration areas. The building connected to the main building by a covered walkway houses another two classrooms, a canteen and gymnasium. We also have 8 classes in four relocatable buildings and a Multi-Purpose Centre. We also have an Out of School Hours Care program.
GROUNDS
The school grounds include a wide variety of playground facilities. We have a large oval, two soccer pitches, two basketball courts and large shaded play areas for both active and passive play.
ENROLMENTS/STAFF
The school has an enrolment of approximately 400 students and teaching staff of around 30. Our staff network with neighbouring schools to share ideas and pride themselves on their continued professional learning. The teaching staff, together with our highly valued education support staff, provides a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that caters for all levels of achievement.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Parent involvement is highly valued at Coral Park Primary School. We welcome parent involvement in all school activities including the school fundraising activities.
Assembly is held every second Friday afternoon beginning at 2.35pm. Parents are invited to arrive early and join with the student leaders for `Coffee and Chat' time. Parents are very active on School Council. We encourage parents and grandparents to assist in the classroom, on excursions, during sports days and to attend all special school events.
