Our school takes pride in its welcoming atmosphere, with modern and comfortable facilities that provide a nurturing environment for our students. The grounds, featuring two adventure playgrounds, a covered court with a synthetic play surface, and two large undercover areas, are designed to cater to diverse needs and ensure an all-weather play experience.
What truly distinguishes Dookie Primary School is the caring and friendly nature of the people who are in and around the school. Our dedicated team, while maintaining professionalism, create a warm, supportive environment where every student is valued. We believe in fostering a sense of belonging that extends beyond the classroom, enveloping the entire school community.
Academically, our approach is meeting every students need in reading, writing and mathematics. Specialist teachers conduct fortnightly art and library lessons, while our STEM curriculum places an emphasis on technology.
At the heart of our community engagement is the program, "Nourishing Dookie," which has a focus on Kitchen, Garden, and Nutrition education. This initiative not only enhances the academic journey but also strengthens the bonds within our community. Collaborating with the local Men¿s Shed, our senior students gain hands-on skills, fostering meaningful connections with community members.
Supported by a fantastic School Council and Parents Forum, we actively engage in grounds upgrading, upkeep, and community fundraising events. Our reliable volunteer base plays a crucial role in delivering our curriculum and enriching the overall school experience.
At Dookie Primary School, our mission is to nurture socially well-balanced students who excel academically within a caring and safe environment. Join us on a journey of education where professional dedication meets a welcoming and genuinely supportive community spirit.
