This role is located in the Inner East Area, based in the Glen Waverley office, 1.0 FTE, Fixed term until 31 December 2026.
The role of the Early Childhood Funding Advisor is to provide a range of program support to early childhood service providers and the Early Childhood Improvement Branch.
The position will be required to work effectively to deliver quality, timely and effective customer service to managers, staff, service providers and members of the public. The position will coordinate and collect data for program area, prepare documentation and maintain accurate records for services/program areas. The position will also process funding and service agreement activities in accordance with the relevant program business rules using a variety of business systems and will support early childhood providers to apply for and access a range of early childhood funding, including Kindergarten Funding and funding to support vulnerable children and families.
Attributes
The ideal candidate will possess strong skills and experience in various office systems and procedures, along with excellent interpersonal, planning skills and communication abilities. They will be able to build and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively within a team. They will also have the capacity to work proactively and independently.
Qualifications and Experience
Desirable: A relevant tertiary qualification or relevant experience in a related field.
