About the Role
Open since 2025 and co-located with Murtoa College, Early Learning Victoria Bani Walup (meaning little blue-tongue lizard) is a 57-place centre in Murtoa offering long day care, Three-Year-Old kindergarten and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs.
Early Learning Victoria is approved to receive the Commonwealth¿s Worker Retention Grant, which funds a 15% wage increase above modern award rates for eligible employees.
In this role, you will:
Provide administrative support across all aspects of centre operations, including enrolment processing, Child Care Subsidy management, payroll, attendance and record keeping
Serve as a key point of contact for families, responding to enquiries by phone, email and in person
Build and maintain strong relationships with families, colleagues, suppliers and the ELV central team
Process payments and perform data entry into the Child Care Management System and payroll systems
Monitor centre security and perform general administrative tasks including communications, team planning and accepting deliveries
Operate in accordance with Education Care Services National Law and Regulations and Early Learning Victoria policies and procedures

About You
Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally with exposure to the early childhood sector
Experience in financial reporting and following organisational policies and procedures
Confidence using administrative software and systems, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Effective communication and relationship-building skills with staff, families and communities
Strong organisational skills, including time management, multitasking and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
