About the role
The Dja Dja Wurrung Partnership Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the delivery of joint management arrangements between Parks Victoria and the Dja Dja Wurrung Aboriginal Clans Corporation. This role facilitates collaborative planning, cultural land management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure Traditional Owner knowledge, values, and aspirations are embedded in the management of jointly managed parks consistent with the Managing Country Framework.
The Partnership Coordinator supports the implementation of the Dhelkunya Dja Joint Management Plan, coordinates operational activities across the six appointed parks, and fosters respectful relationships with Traditional Owners, government agencies, and community stakeholders. The role contributes to cultural heritage protection, ecological conservation, and the development of inclusive governance and reporting frameworks.
