About Medical and Cancer Division
Austin Health’s Medical & Cancer Services Division encompasses clinical services that operate across all three Austin Health campuses including the Olivia Newton John Cancer & Wellness Centre and at Ballarat Health Services (BHS) within the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC). Services within the Division comprise a complex range of national, state-wide and specialty services with multiple satellite units. Many clinical services within the division have associated research units.
About the role
Austin Health is seeking a dynamic leader to co-drive the Medical and Cancer Services Division alongside the Divisional Director. This pivotal role combines clinical expertise with strategic vision to shape future-focused, patient-centered models of care. You will foster collaboration across multiple disciplines, build strong partnerships, and champion innovation to ensure timely access to high-quality care for our community.
About you
We are seeking a respected clinical leader with extensive experience in medicine and a strong commitment to Austin Health values. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven medical leadership, expertise in clinical governance, and a track record in service improvement, research, and teaching. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to drive change, and a collaborative approach are essential. Senior leadership experience and the capability to manage complex programs are highly desirable.
