We are seeking an experienced Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Consultant to champion inclusive culture across RMH. This role will lead the DEI strategy, governance framework and key initiatives, while delivering cyclical programs and meeting reporting obligations.
Highly hands-on and varied, the role suits a self-starter who enjoys both strategic thinking and practical execution. You’ll collaborate broadly, influence stakeholders, build strong internal networks and drive meaningful outcomes that enhance wellbeing, connection and performance.
About the role
In this role, you will:
- Design and deliver programs aligned to the DEI strategy, embedding inclusive principles into policies, programs and events.
- Lead and oversee portfolio initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams where appropriate.
- Support inclusive employment experiences across career stages, informed by insights and continuous listening.
- Guide and partner with Employee Advocacy Groups (EAGs).
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, including reporting.
- Collaborate on events and initiatives that strengthen RMH’s reputation in Wellness, Diversity & Inclusion.
- Maintain the annual DEI calendar and build external professional networks.
What will you bring?
To be successful, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience delivering Diversity & Inclusion initiatives within a large, complex and culturally diverse organisation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
- Experience supporting cultural change, with the ability to embed inclusion through communication, listening and practical frameworks (including EAGs).
- Strong analytical capability, including defining success measures, capturing data and reporting on outcomes.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to link D,E&I initiatives to engagement and organisational performance.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and navigate sensitive matters with professionalism.
- A genuine commitment to values, wellbeing, safety and continuous improvement.
