About the role
As the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisor, you will support the development, coordination and implementation of initiatives that strengthen inclusion, equity, belonging and cultural safety across Parks Victoria.
Reporting to the Manager, Organisational Development, you will help develop and implement Parks Victoria's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy and related action plans. This includes aligning initiatives with existing commitments such as the Gender Equality Action Plan, Disability Action Plan, Aboriginal employment and wellbeing initiatives, and broader workforce priorities.
You will coordinate consultation activities, internal diversity committees and employee networks, including meetings, communications, action registers and follow-up. A key part of the role will be creating safe, respectful and voluntary ways for employees to share feedback and lived experiences to help shape organisational priorities and meaningful change.
Working collaboratively with employees, managers, senior leaders, People and Safety colleagues, internal committees and external partners, you will coordinate communications, events, resources and programs that improve employee experience and build inclusion capability across Parks Victoria.
You will also use workforce data, survey findings and employee feedback to identify themes, monitor progress and recommend practical improvements. This is an opportunity to translate strategic commitments into meaningful and sustainable actions across the organisation.
