About the Role
Make a real difference in your local community by joining our team in Hamilton on a fixed term basis through to 30.7.2027.
In this role you will provide support to volunteers and staff by helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of the district office. This is a varied and rewarding position, offering the opportunity to build strong relationships while delivering high-quality administrative support.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating a broad range of administrative activities, including general administrative support, financial administration, records management, minute taking and responding to enquiries in person, by phone and via email. Your professionalism, attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service will help create a positive experience for volunteers, employees and stakeholders.
A current driver's licence is required, and occasional travel and after-hours work may be required to support operational and organisational needs.
About You:
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable administrator who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment and enjoys supporting volunteers, colleagues and the wider community.
You will bring strong administrative experience, exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, enabling you to manage competing priorities. Comfortable building positive relationships with people at all levels, you'll be a confident communicator who provides professional, responsive service and works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Your proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, together with your strong written and verbal communication skills, will enable you to produce high-quality work, maintain accurate records and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the district office. Experience using SAP4HANA will be highly regarded.
