About the Role:

This full-time, fixed-term District Business Manager position based in our Bairnsdale office offers just that.
In this role, you will lead business management functions for District 11, developing and sustaining strong internal and external partnerships while providing expert advice and direction on key business functions. As part of the District Leadership Team, you will contribute to strategic and business planning, manage complex tasks and work closely with the Regional and other District Business Managers to drive consistent initiatives and processes across districts.
You will lead the District Support Team to deliver high-level customer support and corporate outcomes, building effective relationships across CFA business units, sector partners and external stakeholders. This includes ensuring high-quality customer service, business continuity and providing expert advice in line with CFA legislation, policy and procedures.
This is a leave coverage vacancy and requires full time commitment on a fixed term basis.
About You:
We are seeking a confident, empathetic leader with strong skills in management, finance and planning. Tertiary qualifications in business administration or management are desirable but not essential.
You will be a self-starter with excellent people skills, extensive experience in business administration or office management and a background in managing support services, resources, business plans, budgets and risk.
Success in this role hinges on your proven ability to motivate, lead and develop a high-performing team and foster a strong team culture.
