About the role
An exciting opportunity to complete a Discovery Program in Emergency nursing. The successful applicants will have acute nursing experience, excellent communication skills and a motivation to continued professional development. Multiple positions available with the Program commencing the 13th of July 2026.
Successful applicants will be supported with our well-established structured program.
The Program
The Emergency Discovery Program provides a 6-month supported clinical program to Registered Nurses Year 2 or above who have little or no experience in the speciality of emergency nursing. The aim of the program is to support the participant's development of foundation knowledge and clinical skills required to practice safely and effectively in the emergency department setting. Throughout the structured program specialist clinical educators and preceptors provide participants with clinical, educational and professional support.

The program will provide varied learning opportunities during which the participant can access, share and validate knowledge and will ensure development of core foundation skills and knowledge to enable safe delivery of care within the emergency department.
Key emergency nursing topic learning include
Participants will be supported by the Clinical support nurses to develop the necessary clinical skills whilst at the clinical face.
