About The Mental Health Division:
The Mental Health Division provides care and services through a comprehensive range of teams to meet the needs of mental health consumers and carers throughout Victoria. Services are located across Austin Health campuses and in the community. The role sits across the Division comprising a CYMHS, Adult Service, Speciality Service and Triage, Assessment & Planning Service, and sits of the Mental Health Executive Leadership team to provide professional governance to our OT workforce.
About the role:
The Discipline Senior Mental Health Occupational Therapist holds a formal leadership role and therefore has the accountability to inspire a shared vision, model a values-based approach and create a culture in which new ways of working are encouraged and enabled. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with substantial and relevant clinical experience in mental health and high-quality leadership ability. We are looking for someone with great people skills, extensive supervision experience and capacity to foster ongoing professional development and standards of care.

As the Discipline Senior of Occupational Therapy, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
