About the Role
The Disability Inclusion Senior Implementation Advisor will be part of the Regional Implementation Team who will support the implementation and delivery of Disability Inclusion across the Region. The Regional Implementation Team will work directly with Area staff and schools to guide Disability Inclusion implementation throughout the rollout of the new model.
The primary responsibility of this role is to work directly with Area staff and schools to support the delivery of Disability Inclusion. In partnership with Area teams, the role will visit schools, provide direct advice on Disability Inclusion and support training of schools and broader educational workforces. The role promotes and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders and other regional and central staff to ensure consistent, high-quality practice across the region.
In addition to working within an area to provide advice on embedding Disability Inclusion, the Disability Inclusion Senior Implementation Officer will be required to work collaboratively with other regional workforces to support the integration of the Disability Inclusion across the system.
This is an ongoing full-time opportunity. This position can be situated in either the Greensborough, Coburg, Bendigo, Mildura or Swan Hill office. Travel for the purpose of meetings and the delivery of professional learning and support to area and school staff is an expectation of this position.

Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory: Tertiary qualification in education, disability, allied health or another relevant field
Desirable: Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience with disability and inclusive education practices within schools
The successful applicant will be required to provide a current Working With Children Check.
