The Disability Inclusion Co-ordinator will join the Disability Inclusion Team, providing high level administration support services, in particular to support funding applications for students.
The Disability Inclusion Team (DI Team) work with students with identified needs, to support their learning and wellbeing.
This Administration Co-ordinator will work closely with the DI Team and other staff to provide support with disability inclusion documentation, data collation, database/portal updates, scheduling of required meetings and liaison with external parties.
The key responsibilities of the position may include, but is not limited to:
Develop and manage individual student timetables and special program allocations.
Support the DI Team and other school staff, to prepare and gather information required for Student Support Group (SSG) and Disability Inclusion Profile (DIP) meetings.
Provide assistance during SSG and DIP meetings, including minute taking.
In conjunction with the Leading Teacher ¿ Inclusion
Manage schedules for visiting Allied Health and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) specialists.
Prepare funding applications, liaise with a range of agencies, the Department of Education (DE) and key personnel, as required.
Participate in monitoring and completing financial reports required within the program.
Co-ordinate administrative systems such as Program for Student with Disabilities Management System (PSDMS), DIFs and Student Online Case System (SOCS) as they relate to the portfolio (training will be provided if required).
Support transition processes across the school for students in the Disability Inclusion program.
Oversee collation and storage of all relevant documentation required by DE on students in this program.
Contribute to the development of Disability Inclusion policies as required.
Individuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfil the specific requirements of the position.
