Social Policy groupThe Social Policy Group (SP) provides expert advice to the Premier on education, health, families, fairness and housing, justice, community security and emergency management portfolios. The SP Group also supports the Minister for Multicultural Affairs through the Multicultural Affairs Branch.Directors across Social Policy branches lead and manage teams to provide strategic advice to the Premier, Secretary and senior executives on policy, programs, and issues relating to the relevant branch’s portfolios. You will oversee the delivery of timely, accurate and quality advice to the Secretary of DPC and the Premier reviewing policy proposals, undertaking policy analysis, and assessing the impact of government decisions and actions. Advice can relate to matters of new policy, or assurance around implementation of key government priority initiatives in the portfolio.
