Director, Project Management Office
The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR) is seeking to appoint a Director, Project Management Office to join its team. This role will help shape Victoria's innovation landscape by driving the design and implementation of government's decision to consolidate innovation entities into a new entity that is responsive, impactful, and aligned with emerging opportunities.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Project Management Office, the Director, Project Management Office will contribute to shaping the new entity's strategic purpose and operations, as well as advising on the establishment of robust governance frameworks and planing for successful implementation of the consolidation process. Working in a dynamic team environment, the Director requires strong people management responsibilities and demonstrates excellent initiative, strategic thinking, communication, organisational skills and highly developed stakeholder engagement capabilities.
The successful candidate will have a background or strong understanding of Victoria's innovation ecosystem and be with experience developing high-performing teams to deliver complex, cross-portfolio and high-profile policy projects.
