About the role
This is a fixed term SES1 contract for up to five years.
Reporting to the Executive Director, People, the Director, People Change and Engagement leads the people side of major organisational change across the Department, ensuring change is understood, embraced and sustained. The role partners with senior leaders to design and deliver change and engagement strategies, prepares functional teams for new ways of working, and provides clear, evidence-based advice on workforce impacts and change risks.
As a senior leader, the role builds change capability across the organisation, coaches leaders and managers, and champions a diverse, inclusive culture. It leads engagement with stakeholders across the department, ensures culture, wellbeing and inclusion are embedded in transformation initiatives, and supports the Department’s strategic and government priorities.
