We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our residential aged care campus in Trentham. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team while working collaboratively with colleagues across our rural health service.
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the clinical and operational leadership of the campus, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care. The DON provides visible leadership, supports and develops staff, promotes a positive workplace culture, and ensures the service meets the Aged Care Quality Standards and all relevant legislative requirements.
Working closely with the Executive Team, the DON oversees day-to-day operations, clinical governance, quality improvement, workforce planning, and the ongoing sustainability of the service.
The successful applicant will be a compassionate and approachable leader with strong clinical knowledge and management experience. They will build positive relationships with residents, families and staff, while fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and excellence in resident care.
Details of Appointment: Hours: 80 hours per fortnight - Full time - including an ADO each month
Salary: RN64 - DON (Group 7B) - Nurses EBA @ $74.5500 per hour
