Director of Nursing - Daylesford Health
About the Role:
The Director of Nursing (DoN) is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership of nursing services at our Daylesford Campus. Working in close collaboration with the Executive Director of Clinical Operations, the DoN will lead the development of clinical policies, ensure high-quality service delivery, and drive continuous improvement in care standards. A strong focus on person-centred care, underpinned by health industry innovation and best practices, is essential to success in this role.
This position plays a critical role in shaping and sustaining a culture of clinical excellence, safety, and compassion across all service areas.
About You:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse with:
Proven leadership capabilities at a senior level - ideally having worked as a Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) or in a similar leadership position.
Experience managing and leading teams in acute and/or aged care settings.
Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to person-centred care.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
A collaborative leadership style with a focus on quality, safety, and innovation.

Permanent full-time position, working 80 hours per fortnight including an ADO each 4 weeks, based at Daylesford Health
Salary:
RN65 - Campus DON, Group 8D $71.53 per hour + supernannuation
