The Business Unit is responsible for delivering and further developing the Victorian Government's strategic response to liquor and gambling issues and for developing and implementing the government's policy on the various gambling licensing processes. It is the primary government point of reference for industry, community and government on liquor and gaming issues.
About the Role
The Director, Knowledge, Research and Evaluation leads the Knowledge, Research and Evaluation Branch within G&L. In consultation with the Executive Director and key stakeholders, the role sets the strategic direction for the Knowledge, Research and Evaluation function, including overseeing the development and implementation of a targeted research agenda, evaluation program and knowledge translation program to expand understanding of key gambling issues and support the strategic policy responses to existing, new and emerging issues across the portfolio.
