Position Overview
The Director Infrastructure & Assets is a pivotal executive role within Parks Victoria's Operations and Delivery Division, responsible for leading the Infrastructure and Assets Directorate as Parks Victoria's centre of expertise in the construction, management and maintenance of visitor infrastructure and assets in parks, reserves and designated local ports and waterways.
You will provide guardrails for park asset and infrastructure management by regional teams and lead the direct delivery of complex and high value capital projects across the state, ensuring they are achieved on time and to budget. You will foster genuine partnerships with Traditional Owners, local communities, businesses and other stakeholders whilst managing more than 28,000 assets and visitor infrastructure.
This role is critical to Parks Victoria's success as the organisation undergoes significant transformation, getting 'back to basics' to improve performance in ensuring Victoria's diverse network of parks and reserves remain accessible for all visitors to enjoy.
