About the role:
The Director, Improvement Unit 1 will lead priority improvement initiatives for Safer Care Victoria (SCV) that aim to deliver measurable impact through focused projects to reduce avoidable harm and deliver better outcomes.
The Director will work collaboratively with the senior leadership team at SCV, and with clinicians, consumers and executives across the healthcare sector to drive improved system safety and value in the delivery of healthcare for Victorians.
You will lead by example demonstrating the SCV and Department of Health (DH) values in your interactions with staff and stakeholders. As an executive, you will support a culture in your team and across the organisation that is innovative, collaborative, flexible, proactive, and dedicated to delivering outstanding healthcare for all Victorians, always.
