An exciting senior opportunity exists for a talented and motivated individual to lead the Health Branch as Director-Health Branch at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
The Health Branch shadows and supports the work of the Department of Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work on reforms to improve the health and wellbeing of all Victorians and delivery of a health system that leads to better health outcomes.
The Director leads and manages teams to provide strategic advice to the Premier, Secretary and senior executives on policy, programs, and issues relating to the branch's portfolios. This branch is responsible for providing advice on functions within the Department of Health.
The Director role is responsible for managing the delivery of timely, accurate and quality advice to the Secretary of DPC and the Premier. The advice can include reviewing policy proposals, undertaking policy analysis, and assessing the impact of government decisions and actions. You will also work closely with areas within DPC and other key departments across government.
This opportunity would suit a motivated individual with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, as well as demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills.
