About the role
As the Director, Gas Substitution and Energy Efficiency, you will provide strategic leadership to a high-profile branch comprising the Gas Reform, Gas Substitution Roadmap, Low Emissions Buildings and Scorecard teams. This role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver critical policy including the Gas Substitution Roadmap work program, the role of energy efficiency in buildings and energy demand management.
We are seeking an executive leader with a proven record of delivering outcomes for government in complex and fast-evolving environments. The role requires exceptional policy, delivery and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the integrity, resilience and drive to influence at the highest levels and build trust a cross government, industry and the community.

This is a fixed-term position available for a period of up to 5 years. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
