The Director - Finance is responsible for managing the organisation's financial governance and performance. This role involves leading the preparation and provision of accurate financial information, data, and compliance advice to key stakeholders, including the VCAA Board and the Audit and Risk Committee.
The Director - Finance reports to the Executive Director, Corporate Services. In addition to bringing technical expertise, the role is also a member of the VCAA's and Corporate Services Division's executive teams and is expected to contribute to whole-of-organisation leadership This role requires experience in a senior management role leading finance systems and high-level reporting, preferably in a context that reflects the governance and operational characteristics of the VCAA.
Leading the finance team, the Director - Finance will ensure quality service delivery, lead the organisations financial management and foster an environment of collaboration and excellence.
The Director - Finance ensures the effective delivery of financial services and reporting, business monitoring, and risk management through exemplary leadership.
