About the opportunity
The Director, Engagement leads strategic, community-focused engagement across all phases of the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL), ensuring community feedback underpins the planning and delivery of SRL East. Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, Strategic Communications and Engagement, the Director oversees a team to deliver tailored engagement strategies, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and proactively identify and respond to issues and opportunities.
This role requires a collaborative leader who can balance strategic insight with operational delivery. You bring a strong understanding of government and political contexts, deep experience in major infrastructure delivery and engagement, and the ability to inspire and guide teams in a fast-paced and demanding environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring SRL continues to deliver meaningful, inclusive and transparent engagement with Victorian communities.
