This role is a 0.6 FTE, as a job share arrangement as co- Director, Employee Respect, Safety and Inclusion branch. The role reports to the Executive Director, ESWID, and will oversee systems of work and the development and delivery of strategic initiatives, programs, policies and strategies relation to workforce diversity and inclusion and the prevention of work-related violence and psychosocial hazards including bullying and sexual harassment.
The role requires excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills and an ability to engage with senior Department staff, school principals, across government and with peak industrial organisations. The role also requires strong collaboration, communication and partnership skills to work effectively with the co-Director, ERSI, to deliver the work of the branch. The successful candidate will have experience designing and delivering workforce strategies or initiatives and knowledge and understanding of laws/regulations or policy relevant to workforce diversity and inclusion and the prevention of work related violence and psychosocial hazards including bullying, sexual harassment, gendered violence.
