The Director, Early Childhood Investment Strategy Branch is a key position for the Department's delivery of the Infrastructure components of the Best Start, Best Life reforms.
The role leads a branch of around 30 people, planning and coordinating the delivery of infrastructure needed to ensure the successful implementation of the Three-Year Old Kindergarten and Best Start Best Life Reforms.

The branch leads the policy and strategy development for a substantial and long-term government investment program. It is responsible for development of the relevant business cases and engagement through the budget and cabinet process throughout the year.

The branch works in partnership with Asset Strategy Branch to support development of key foundational policies and guidelines such as the asset management and maintenance policy for early childhood facilities and embed monitoring in line with the Department's ECE Strategic Asset Management Plan.
