VECRA works to ensure the safety, wellbeing and development of children through effective regulation, compliance, quality assessment and continuous improvement across the early childhood sector.
About the Role
The Victorian Early Childhood Regulatory Authority is seeking an experienced and collaborative Director of Complex Investigations to lead and manage specialist investigative teams.
The Director of Complex Investigations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of high-priority and sensitive investigations into Victorian early childhood education and care services. This includes ensuring that investigations are conducted with integrity, rigour, and in compliance with legislative, regulatory, and policy requirements.
The Director will have extensive regulatory experience and expertise and will be able to provide authoritative advice and recommendations to senior management on investigation strategy, outcomes, enforcement actions, and regulatory compliance matters.
