THE ROLE
Reporting to the Executive Director, Service Enhancement, the Director, Director, Child Protection Service Improvement and Business Continuity is responsible for developing, leading, and monitoring consistent, state-wide approaches to management of service continuity risks, as well as overseeing state-wide system improvements to Victoria's child protection program.
The role provides executive leadership for business continuity as it impacts the child protection and housing workforce, informed by service demand and resources available to undertake service delivery. This includes leadership and co-ordination of business continuity obligations for Community Operations and Practice Leadership Division during periods of high demand and emergency management.
The role is also responsible for identifying and implementing system improvements across the child protection program to drive business innovation and improved outcomes for children and families. This includes oversight of daily performance data and management of projects designed to enhance technical capability, improve workflow and reduce administrative burden on practitioners.
