About the Role
The Director Assessment Strategy and Coordination is responsible for driving and coordinating organisational strategic assessment-based initiatives. The incumbent will be responsible for a dynamic, responsive and cross-functional team, who will provide advice, analysis and stakeholder engagement to enable the achievement of strategic objectives.
The Director reports to the Executive Director, Assessment. This role is a key member the VCAA's leadership team and contributes to whole-of-organisation leadership.

Essential: Strong leadership and change mangement experience; Tertiary degree in a relevant field

About the Department
The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services.
The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
