About the Department
The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services.
The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About the Division
The Teaching and Learning Reform Division (TLRD) develops strategic advice and policy guidance, practice guides and tools for teachers to support effective teaching and learning.

These roles are situated within the Digital Publishing Unit in the Victorian Lesson Plans (VLP) branch. The VLP branch is developing lesson plans to support the implementation of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2.0 in the priority areas of English, Mathematics, Science, Design and Technologies inclusive of the Foundation Levels A to D of the Victorian Curriculum
About the Roles
Multiple fixed-term Digital Publishing Officer roles are available to support the quality assurance and publication of lesson plans and supporting resources onto the Arc Learning platform. In these roles, incumbents will collaborate with content owners and subject teams to ensure all web content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with curriculum and government standards.

The ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced team environment, effectively managing multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality content delivery.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidates will have familiarity with VicGov writing standards, experience editing web content, and working within content management systems. Strong knowledge of content management policies and best practices is desired, along with the ability to plan, organise, and prioritise competing tasks efficiently.
