About the role
The Clinical Dietitian will provide evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services to patients, clients and customers of Barwon Health. The role will support consumers and carers to achieve an optimum level of health independence via:
Our team at Barwon Health provide clinical services to inpatients and outpatients across all clinical services at University Hospital Geelong, McKellar Centre and Belmont Community Rehabilitation Centre. Our services promote the concept of a cooperative teamwork model, where staff are expected to pursue clinical excellence, consumer-centre care and interdisciplinary teamwork. Additionally the team provide clinical placements for Deakin dietetics students, coordinated by Student Placement Coordinator, and have a strong relationship with Food Services via our Food Service Dietitian.
