Dietitian – Grade 1
Fixed Term, Full-Time – 80 Hours per Fortnight with Monthly ADO
Are you graduating in 2025 with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics? Do you have a passion for working with people affected by cancer?
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated new graduate dietitian to join our Nutrition & Speech Pathology Department in a 12-month full-time Grade 1 position. Based at our main Melbourne campus, this role will commence in January 2026.
In this position, you will deliver clinical nutrition and dietetic services to both inpatients and ambulatory patients as part of a multidisciplinary team. While not assigned to a specific clinical workload, the successful applicant will rotate across all major tumour streams, gaining broad exposure to a range of clinical oncology areas.
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Passionate about oncology care
• Hardworking and adaptable
• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills
You will be supported through a structured supervision model and have access to ongoing professional development. There will also be opportunities to engage in quality improvement, service development, education, and research initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Completion of a Nutrition and Dietetics degree in 2025 (including those progressing directly into relevant postgrad study, e.g. Honours)
• DA membership and APD status (or eligibility for APD status)
• Applicants expecting to complete their degree by the end of 2025 (pending final results) are also eligible to apply
